13-Card Indian Rummy App

Master Rummy is 13-card Indian Rummy played with two decks and printed jokers, the version you will find in any Indian card club. You draw a card, you discard a card, and you race to sort thirteen cards into sequences and sets before anyone else declares. Of the four games in the Master Games app it rewards skill the most: remembering discards, reading what opponents pick up, and knowing when to drop count for more than the cards you are dealt. Points, Pool and Deals Rummy run at two-seat and six-seat tables from ₹0.05 a point, each with a 30-second turn clock.

HOW TO PLAY MASTER RUMMY
- Every player gets 13 cards. One card opens the discard pile and a wild joker rank is drawn at random.
- On your turn, take the top card from the closed deck or the open discard pile, then discard one card.
- To declare you need at least two sequences, one of them pure (no joker). Every other card must sit in a sequence or a set.
- A sequence is three or more consecutive cards of one suit; a set is three or four cards of one rank in different suits.
- Place your last discard on the finish slot and declare. A wrong declaration costs the full 80 points.
MELDS AND DEADWOOD
| Pure sequence | Needed to declare. No jokers, for example 5♥ 6♥ 7♥. |
|---|---|
| Impure sequence | A sequence that uses one or more jokers. |
| Set | Three or four cards of the same rank in different suits. |
| Deadwood | Cards in no meld. Their values count against you when someone declares. |
MASTER RUMMY VARIANTS
Points Rummy
A single deal. Each point has a rupee value and the winner collects everyone's deadwood points.
Pool Rummy (101 / 201)
Several deals. A player is out once their running total reaches 101 or 201 points.
Deals Rummy
A fixed number of deals, two or three, played for chips. Most chips at the end wins.
TABLES, STAKES AND TIMERS
Every variant runs at two-seat and six-seat tables. Points tables are sorted by point value from ₹0.05 to ₹5, so at a ₹0.10 table a full 80-point loss costs ₹8; Pool and Deals tables print their entry fee on the lobby card. Each turn has a 30-second clock with three extra-time allowances per game. A disconnected player is auto-played for two turns before being dropped with the mid-game penalty. The platform fee comes out of the winning pot only and is shown on the table card before you sit.
How fairness works
Both decks are shuffled by the certified random number generator for every deal, and the wild joker comes from that same shuffle rather than being chosen afterwards. Every hand is stored for 90 days and can be replayed card by card from History. A disputed declaration is checked by the game integrity team against that record, and both players receive the result of the review in the app.

RUMMY TIPS FROM THE CLUB
- Build the pure sequence before anything else. Until it exists, every other card in the hand is exposed.
- Get rid of high cards you cannot use quickly. A stray king costs 10 points if someone else declares.
- Watch what opponents pick from the open pile; it tells you which sequences they are chasing.
- Drop on the first turn if you have no joker and no near-sequence. The first-drop penalty is far smaller than 80.
Mistakes that cost members most
- Holding a near-sequence for too long. If the card you need has already been discarded twice, break the group and rebuild.
- Slipping a joker into your only sequence. That makes it impure, and without a pure sequence the declare is invalid.
- Ignoring the deadwood count. Three loose low cards cost less than one loose king, so discard picture cards first.
- Declaring without checking the highlights. The app marks invalid groups in red; a wrong declare still costs 80 points.
MASTER RUMMY GLOSSARY
- Drop
- Leaving a deal instead of playing it out: 20 points before your first pick, 40 afterwards, always under the 80 maximum.
- Wild joker
- The rank drawn at the start of a deal. All four cards of that rank act as jokers alongside the two printed ones.
- Meld
- A valid sequence or set laid down at declaration. Thirteen cards need at least four melds.
- Deadwood
- Cards outside any meld. Picture cards and aces count 10 each toward your penalty.
- Show
- Placing the final discard on the finish slot and presenting the hand for checking.
